Skin

A flawless foundation is the cornerstone of any bridal makeup look. Every makeup artist's goal when doing a bride's makeup is to achieve flawless coverage, a unified look, and just the perfect amount of contouring and highlighting.

Because of the pictures, contouring and highlighting are crucial for bridal appearances. Adding contouring to the face makes the bride's makeup pop, and prevents her face from seeming flat and lifeless in photographs. Under the cheekbones, on the temples (this also helps to slim the face), along the jawline, and on the sides of the nose are the most important places to apply contour. The cheekbones and the bridge of the nose are highlighted, and the product is blended with the blush. CALL US FOR MAKEUP ARTIST COURSE IN GURGAON

Even if contouring and highlighting seem fine in photographs, no bride wants to appear blotchy and unfinished in person. Changing the techniques of application is essential for getting around this. When it comes to bridal makeup, airbrushing is hands down better than anything since false eyelashes were invented. When applied with an airbrush, foundation, contouring, and highlighting all come together to provide a perfect finish. This is why airbrush makeup for weddings is gaining popularity.

Eyes

Bridal makeup varies the most around the eyes. Eastern European and Middle Eastern brides often have quite dramatic and brightly colored eye makeup. Many East Asian brides, like their Western counterparts, choose for a more subdued color palette (grays, taupes, mild pinks, and browns) and a less theatrical approach to makeup application. Eyes should be highlighted in the inner corner, the center of the top lid, and beneath the arch of the eyebrow no matter the bridal makeup style you choose. In photographs, the eyes benefit greatly from the way that light is caught by these three areas, which makes them appear larger and brighter. This would look great in a pure white or cream hue.

Lips

Lips that are picture perfect for the big day require a little bit of work from the bride's makeup artist, who should use a highlighter and a contour. Shade the outside lip corners a slightly darker color than the rest of the lip; this will provide the illusion of fullness. Next, put a highlighter eye shadow (in the same pearl as the eyes) onto the cupid's bow of the lips. This won't add color, but it will reflect light to make your lips seem fuller and more luscious.
